Mission
We track political promises the way a bureaucracy tracks anything: with a file number, a date, and a paper trail. Comedy is the delivery mechanism. The sourcing underneath it isn't optional. A joke about a promise is only funny if the promise was actually made, and the receipts are actually real.
What this is (and isn't)
This is a satire and parody publication. Headlines and articles under “Satire” are fiction, clearly marked, and not intended to be read as literal reporting. Tracker entries are different: the claim and outcome are stated straight and sourced; only the one-line commentary is the joke.
This site is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or authorized by any political party, candidate, or government body, including the party whose name this site's name plays on.
Methodology
- Every Tracker claim is dated, attributed, and linked to a primary source where one exists.
- Outcomes are described against publicly available records, not assumed intent. We document what happened, not why we think someone lied.
- Each entry gets one of five statuses: Delivered, Partially Delivered, Quietly Dropped, Redefined (goalposts moved), or Too Early to Tell.
- Full citations for every claim live on the Sources page.
Corrections policy
If a claim, date, or source on this site is wrong, we want to know. Send a correction with a link or document backing your version, and we'll review it. Confirmed errors are fixed publicly, with a visible timestamp. We don't quietly edit the record. That would make us exactly the thing this site exists to make fun of.
